"A revealing and enjoyable glimpse into a world many of us have rarely ever ventured – Vancouver Terminal City Weekly

At the Track

At The Track is an experimental documentary involving two participants: one a part-time gambler and the other an part-time filmmaker. While the former pursues a line of inquiry designed to predict which horse will win, the latter tries to illuminate the vagaries of betting at the race track, as well as the nature of gambling itself. The place where these two endeavors intersect is one where investing in an outcome is the paradigm, and the participants try with various strategies to rise above the herd and achieve their goals. It’s all just part of living at the track.

"We all need something to believe in, and in this world of neon billboards, budget cuts, and broken dreams, that something can be as meaningless as a horse named Poupon" – Seattle Weekly
